One of a kind, custom wall art created by acrylic pouring technique. You can choose any color scheme, or send a picture of the space where its future will be home and I will create a custom color scheme for you.
The finished piece will be on archival quality, 1.5” (3.8cm) deep gallery wrapped cotton canvas OR a 2” deep premium birch wood panel. The standard finish is gloss, but a resin coating, which gives the appearance of glass, is available as well. NOTE: A resin coating would only be possible to add to this size painting if it were done on a wood panel instead, which would be an up charge for cost of the wood and resin, and a shipping up charge (due to increased weight). It is possible, but please contact me directly for a quote!
The creative possibilities are endless, with an array of glitter and color shifting pigments available. There are multiple styles (and colors) of available glitter such as coarse, medium, and fine.
The painting will be carefully packed before being shipped to ensure no damage occurs during transport. Insurance for the value of the painting will be included. The free shipping included is for USPS. If you need a different carrier or a faster timeframe, please contact me for a quote about adding a shipping upgrade.
The process can take 2-3 weeks to source materials, create the piece, and allow proper curing time before shipping.
Acrylic pouring combines the complexity of science and the beauty of art. It involves large quantities of paint mixed with acrylic polymers, and is carefully measured and mixed to create the perfect recipe. Each paint pigment has a different density, and therefore each paint color pushes and pulls against each other when they collide on the canvas. This causes the various reactions you see, such as cells, lacing, and blending. My primary tools to manipulate the paint is a blow dryer and my hands; not a brush like in traditional painting.
