Quality of Materials: Every painting is created using professional, archival quality materials so that the work may be enjoyed for a lifetime.

I use almost exclusively Golden Artist Colors professional paints, which are arguably the best acrylic paints on the market. The depth, richness, and vibrancy of the pigments make an obvious difference in the overall impact of a piece. All mixing mediums, varnish, canvases and gesso are also professional quality.

Commitment to the environment: I use sustainable materials and green practices whenever possible.

I limit my use of one-time-use, disposable materials such as wooden stir sticks, plastic cups, and paper towels. By using mixing cups, stir sticks, and table coverings made out of silicone I can reduce landfill trash and minimize plastic waste. I also carefully calculate out my paint amounts to minimize the amount of wasted paint. I repurpose all of my shipping supplies and recycle anything recyclable. Finally, I convert my paint wastewater to solid waste so as to avoid contributing to water and ocean pollution
